Evidence of a Spirit Filled Community

Acts 2:37-47

In this first of three messages from the Book of Acts 2:37-47 we focus on the seven proofs which confirms that today’s Church Community is Spirit filled! There will be evangelism, professions of faith, baptism, devotion to the word and more. Find out how these attributes are crucial in a believers choice, walk and belonging with members in the Body of Christ.

In this second of three messages from the Book of Acts 2:37-47, we see that today’s Church Community must be submitted to the priorities of the Holy Spirit. As believers in Christ, we are Spirit-filled beings, who can discern the difference between the visible church and the true church. We must be able to see the difference between the wheat and the tares, the sheep and the goats and other groups of opposites which God has allowed to thrive with in body of believers. As we recognize these differences, the challenge for us today is to stay on priority to avoid straying and distorting the work Christ Jesus has already begun.

As we conclude this series from the Book of Acts 2:37-47 one thing becomes quite evident; the Spirit Filled Church Community will establish the foundational truth-that we are in partnership with the Holy Spirit. Because of this partnership with the Holy Spirit, we must trust Him for what we can not do. An essential component of this partnership is knowing, believing and speaking what you know-Jesus!
