God Lovers Must Change

Romans 8:28-29

Lovers of God must change, the text says those who love God are the ones who are being conformed to the image of the Lord Jesus Christ. It is expected that all true children of God, through faith in Christ, are true God lovers. Change from the heart that is eventually seen in how we live, is the ultimate proof and ultimate purpose of our salvation. He is working in our lives to progressively bring about a change in our hearts that reveals the new nature that is in us; the same nature that was in Jesus Christ, His Son, and our Savior.

Our wills, our thinking, our actions and ultimately our devotion should be looking more and more like the greatest lover of God to walk this earth. God is into changing us through His power, it is in His plan and the ultimate desire is that God would reveal His personality through those who believe in His Son. It should, indeed, assure our hearts and comfort our hearts that no matter what happens, God has all things working together to make us better; to look, to be conformed into the image of His Son.
