Will of God for the Child of God

I Thess. 4:1-8

The new life in Christ carries with it a new set of expectations, which we often refer to as, the will of God! A point of challenge in our Christian growth is the will of God versus the will of man. God’s determinations, His desires, His demands, His direction serve as the purpose for our living and they often come head to head with man’s own will. What does the will of God involve? A life set apart unto God and set apart for God that now involves our sanctification, sexual purity and serious accountability. What God determines and expects is His will to be the central focus of our lives and the basis for how we live.
